The Chicken Man (Chicken Book) is a 1 of 1, collection of 14 images captured on black and white 35mm in Key West Florida. Kodak Tri-X 400! We were sitting outside at a diner one-day enjoying breakfast next to a group of chickens when this man, James, started chasing the chickens around. I never saw what James did with the chickens after he captured them but the feathers sticking out of his shoes and headband gave me an idea. My mom would call him The Chicken Man. 

This pocket-sized book is 3.5 x 5 inches. This was my first time using liquid emulsion (nightmear). I applied the emulsion to sketch paper, a nice and foldable paper weight. I then waited for the emulsion to dry so I could coat the other side of the paper (nightmare). I scanned my negatives and reprinted them on ink press transparency so I could contact print these pages. I would expose, flip, expose, and then develop as a whole batch. I then hand-bound this book with binders thread and hey! It is what it is!
