BOXES
This project utilizes advanced Photoshop techniques to introduce boxes made from flat texture images into urban landscapes. These landscapes and textures were captured in Chicago's South Loop. These compositions were made to get a better understanding of perspective, light, and space in photography. These compositions started by finding perspective lines followed by building outlines for the boxes. This was then followed by selecting the textures best suited for the environment and distorting the texture to fit the perspective. Then the texture's luminosity, color, and saturation were adjusted to fit the new environment. Finally, to ground these boxes in the space, shadows were introduced.
