This project began as a study in building a cohesive icon language around the physical tools and environments of photography. The set currently includes 60 custom icons representing cameras, studio equipment, darkroom tools, and archival materials. Each icon was constructed on a consistent grid to ensure clarity, scalability, and visual consistency.

The icon set serves as the foundation for a larger project currently in development. Next phases include designing a custom display typeface, building a full brand identity, and expanding the system into a photography community platform that includes publication design, event branding, and digital experiences.

This project explores how a single visual system can evolve from iconography into a complete design ecosystem.

This set is now available for public use on the Noun Project, aggregates and catalogs symbols that are created and uploaded by graphic designers around the world, use here.
